Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Pommard appellation, known for its rich and robust wines.
It has a deep ruby color with a purple hue. On the nose, it offers aromas of dark cherries, blackberries, and spices, with hints of vanilla and oak from the barrel aging process. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and well-structured with flavours of black fruit, liquorice, and a touch of smoke. It has a long and complex finish with firm tannins and a good acidity, which gives the wine a nice balance.
Pairs well with grilled or roasted meats, such as beef, lamb, or venison, as well as rich dishes like stews or casseroles. It can also be enjoyed on its own as a contemplative wine.
