Benriach 21 Years
Tax included.
A premium single malt Scotch whisky produced by the BenRiach Distillery, located in the Speyside region of Scotland.
The whisky is made from a combination of malted barley and water, which is then fermented and distilled in copper pot stills. After distillation, the whisky is aged for 21 years in a combination of ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, and virgin oak casks, which impart a rich and complex flavour profile to the whisky.
It has a deep amber color and a complex aroma, with notes of dried fruits, raisins, figs, and honey, along with a hint of vanilla, spice, and oak. On the palate, the whisky is full-bodied and rich, with flavours of caramel, toffee, dark chocolate, and a subtle smokiness, complemented by a touch of sherry and oak. The finish is long and warming, with a lingering taste of fruit, spice, and oak.
Best enjoyed as a sipping whisky, preferably neat or with a splash of water to release its full complexity and flavours. It pairs well with rich and savoury dishes, such as roasted meats or stews, and also with strong cheeses or dark chocolate.
