Chateau Marsyas 2014
Dark fruits and spices flavour profile
A red wine from the Bekaa Valley region of Lebanon. It is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Syrah, and 10% Petit Verdot. It exhibits a deep ruby color with purple reflections. On the nose, it displays a complex bouquet of dark fruits, such as blackcurrant and blackberry, with hints of spices, cedar, and a touch of vanilla.
On the palate, it is full-bodied with a rich and velvety texture. The flavors of dark fruit and spices are evident, with notes of chocolate and a touch of oak. The wine has well-structured tannins and a long finish, with a good balance between acidity and fruit.
A wine that can be enjoyed now, but it also has the potential to age for several years.
Pairs well with grilled red meats, lamb, and strong cheeses.
