Sweet and full-bodied flavour profile

Made from a blend of 80% Semillon and 20% Sauvignon Blanc, grown on the estate's vineyards located on the left bank of the Garonne river.

The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo a rigorous selection process to ensure only the highest quality grapes are used in the production of this wine. The wine is then aged for 42 months in oak barrels, with 100% new barrels used for each vintage.

Château D'Yquem 2009 has a bright golden color, and a complex and intense aroma of apricot, honey, peach, and citrus, along with hints of vanilla, coconut, and spices. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity, and a long and persistent finish.

This wine is considered to be one of the finest sweet wines in the world, and it has received high ratings from wine critics.

It is recommended to serve Château D'Yquem 2011 slightly chilled, at around 12-14°C,

Pair it with foie gras, blue cheese, or desserts such as crème brûlée or fruit tarts.
