Alter Ego de Palmer 2015 Margaux
Dark fruits and full-bodied flavour profile
The second wine of the famous Château Palmer estate in Margaux, which is one of the top wineries in the Bordeaux region of France.
Made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot grapes, which are carefully selected from the younger vines of the estate. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, with about 50% new oak.
It has a deep ruby color and a complex bouquet of ripe dark fruit, such as blackcurrant, blackberry, and black cherry, along with notes of vanilla, spice, and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and rich, with flavors of black fruit, chocolate, and a touch of oak. The tannins are firm yet silky, providing structure and balance to the wine, with a long and elegant finish.
Pair with red meat, game meat, and hearty dishes, or for enjoying on its own as a sophisticated and elegant wine.
