Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion is the second wine of Château La Mission Haut-Brion, a prestigious Bordeaux wine estate located in the Pessac-Léognan appellation on the Left Bank of the Gironde river. The 2016 vintage of Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc grapes, and was aged for approximately 18 months in French oak barrels, with around 35% new oak.

The wine has received high critical acclaim, with wine critics praising its intense aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, and tobacco, as well as its rich and complex palate with notes of dark fruit, graphite, and spice. The wine is known for its firm tannins, balanced acidity, and long, persistent finish.

Overall, the 2016 Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion is considered to be an excellent wine with great aging potential, and is a more affordable alternative to the Château La Mission Haut-Brion Grand Vin.
