Huellas 2014, Franck Massard
Black fruits and oak flavour profile
Produced by Franck Massard, a renowned winemaker from the Priorat region of Spain. It is made from a blend of Grenache, Carignan, and Syrah grapes, grown in old vines that are over 50 years old.
On the nose, Huellas 2014 is characterised by intense aromas of dark fruit, such as blackberry and plum, along with hints of spice, vanilla, and oak. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and rich, with firm tannins, a good acidity, and flavors of black fruit, a touch of licorice, and a hint of chocolate. The finish is long and complex, with a delicate balance between fruit and oak.
Pairs well with red meats, game meat, and hard cheeses.
