Elegant and fine flavour profile

Made from a blend of 69% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 1% Cabernet Franc, all grown on the estate's vineyards located in the suburbs of Bordeaux.

The grapes were hand-harvested and underwent a rigorous selection process before being fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine was then aged for 18 months in oak barrels, 80% of which were new.

Château La Mission Haut-Brion 2006 has a deep ruby color with purple reflections, and an elegant and complex aroma of blackcurrant, blackberry, and cherry, along with notes of tobacco, leather, and spices. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with firm and ripe tannins, a good acidity, and a long and persistent finish.

It is recommended to decant the wine for at least an hour before serving to allow it to fully develop its aromas and flavours.

Pairs well with a variety of rich and flavourful dishes such as red meats, game meats, aged cheeses or dark chocolates.
