Bollinger Special Cuvée Brut
Creamy and complex flavour profile
Special Cuvée Brut is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier grapes, sourced from various vineyards in the region. The wine is aged for at least three years on its lees, which gives it a rich and creamy texture and complex flavor profile.
On the nose, it is characterised by aromas of apple, pear, and brioche, with hints of honey and roasted nuts. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with a fine and persistent mousse, a lively acidity, and flavours of ripe fruits, hazelnuts, and a touch of mineral. The finish is long and complex, with a delicate balance between fruit and a hint of smokiness.
Pairs well with a wide range of foods, including seafood, poultry, and richer pasta dishes, and is also a great wine to enjoy on its own as an aperitif or with a cheese course.
