The wine has a beautiful dark ruby colour. The nose is rich with black fruit and spice aromas, backed up by woody and smoky notes. On the palate, It is powerful, with well blended tannins and again nice woody notes from being raised in oak. The beautiful structure and big rich aromas of this Pommard are the proof of good cellaring potential.
